Focus on Giving and Sharing Kindness
One of the key principles to living a life of abundance is that you get what you give. If you're familiar with the Law of Attraction, you'll find that this concept applies here, as well. The law states that you will attract the things and people into your life that you focus on. That's why it's imperative that you focus on giving and sharing kindness, love, and joy. Even skeptics can't argue that this is a positive life philosophy. Let's take a look at how it all works.
Like Attracts Like
The energy you put out in the world truly does tend to come back to you. There are a lot of beliefs built upon this concept. There's the Golden Rule, Karma, and the Wiccan tenet, "If no harm is done, do as you will." All are based on the idea that you should treat others as you would want to be treated and that your life will be good if you are not harming others. There's a reason so many cultures and religions rely on such a philosophy...it simply...
People hold a wide range of ideas about money, life, and abundance. In previous blogs, I've touched on the concept that money is merely a resource to help you lead an abundant life. This idea is truer than many would like to believe. The constant focus on money and making more of it can actually lead to a mindset of lack. And when you feel that you're lacking, abundance becomes further out of reach.
In order to live an Intentional Life, you must have a relationship with your finances; you must be a good steward of your money. Instead of seeing money as the goal, I think it's important to shake up your views on the subject if you want to gain a healthy relationship with your finances. Let me show you what I mean.
Money is a Tool
I introduced this idea before, and it's an important one to remember. Money truly is nothing more than a tool or a resource. Yes, it's something we all need in order to survive, and there are fixed expenses to...
Kaizen and Personal Goals – Where to Start?
If you've come across the concept of Kaizen then you'll know that making lots of small changes can help you to build towards big goals. It's very hard to encourage yourself to take on some huge new project when you're already struggling to juggle all the balls you have in the air, so making small changes will likely be much more likely to be successful than trying to make one huge one.
But now you have a new problem: where do you start?
Say your goal is to be richer, or happier, or fitter… and your aim is to make tiny changes that will help you to achieve that. Where do you begin? It's going to be a long, slow process, so where is it best to direct your energy at this point?
I've learned from The Law of Attraction that we are, as well as our thoughts, made of pure energy, and that through the process of like energy attracting like energy a person can improve their own health, wealth, and personal...
Many times, when people think of abundance, they immediately envision $$$$$ dollar signs $$$$$. The concept of abundance is often confused with wealth. However, it's important to make the distinction between the two. They are definitely not the same. I've often said that money is a resource; it's a tool for obtaining material things that you want. As we discussed in yesterday's post, abundance refers to living a life in which you possess more than enough. An abundant life is one of close personal connections, meaningful experiences, and feelings of contentment. It's about being happy and fulfilled.
We'll touch on some ways that you can manifest abundance in your life here in the blog, but I invite you to join A Pilgrimage to Self Lifestyle Coaching Membership to learn more to help you create a great Intentional Life filled with abundance. The membership is currently closed, but I recommend getting on the WAITLIST:
Living an Intentional Life is about inviting abundance into every area of your life that sustains your life. Even though it can certainly mean something different to everyone, it basically, refers to having a large quantity of something or having more than enough. It's used quite often in personal development circles, especially when we talk of the Law of Attraction. Most of us want to have the feeling of living an abundant life in which there is always plenty; however, there are still many people who live in a mindset of lack. It's time to change this...we need to invite abundance into our lives.
The key to inviting abundance into your life is to be intentional. This is what we teach in our Lifestyle Coaching Membership: A Pilgrimage to Self. Here are a couple of steps I've shared before when talking about abundance:
Make it Clear
